Get a checkup and have your fill level checked. Then just go back to basics. Protein, no sliders, eat slowly. You can do it! Good for you for recommitting!

I think being here on the forum is a great way of keeping our heads in the game -- I'm with Just Watch Me. Put your medical professionals to work and see whether you need a fill. Choose yourself -- this is your time, your summer. Here's to your healthy future! Don't forget to pat yourself on the back for all you have done. Now, Rock It!

Consider tracking your food intake on Myfitnesspal or something like it. I found it invaluable for tracking calories and keeping me focused.

Thank you! I will totally will be taking your edvice, on Tuesday I will call up my Dr and start tracking my food. Sometimes I feel alone. Most people I know don't have weight issues. I have been thinking I may be too tight. I heard that may cause people to gain. What do you guess think?

Dont have the "too tight " problem, but you don't mention any exercise. What are you doing ? Any favorites ? Some class or activity you've been wanting to try ?? Spring is a good time to get outside for a walk in the evening or a bike ride , etc. Find something you enjoy and it won't feel like work ! Good luck !

Don't give up! This is a personal journey & is different for all of us. You may need to get several adjustments before finding your comfort zone. Your doctor wants you to succeed--write all your questions down & use your visit as an opportunity to get what you need & then spring into action. It's awesome you're recommitting--you can do this! Wishing you all the best from Chicago!

Hey LOL, I'm in exactly the same place you are. 3 years out and staying at 45 pounds lost. A year "off" for back surgery (successful) and I'm ready to get back on track. With summer and my new back I am able to do some exercising - tennis and swimming - an 11-year-old coach does wonders. Good luck to you.

Thanks Daddyof4, it has been hard! I hate it when people ask me how I'm doing with my band, I mean it is obvious I haven't done as well as I would like. Just keeping off the weight is a great thing. :) I have faith I will do good these two months! !!!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
