Best to call up your doctor's clinic and ask them. We all have different diets set for us by the doctor based on our weight and other criteria. Doddie

I doubt you should drink it. If it has 118 cal which is not what you want on the pre-op. The reason why they allow tea or coffee is that they have virtually no calories.

If it was just the matcha tea I would likely, but this sounds like a prepared drink made with matcha tea and other ingredients.

The idea of the pre-op is to limit you to about 1000cal per day.

After you are banded you dont want to be drinking 118 calorie drinks because they add up fast. If you had 2 a day that is about 20% of your calories for the day.

I would stay away from it.

Probably best to stay away from it

But I gotta add, I'm a greeen tea addict! I love the matcha blends, and green tea icecream, best is green tea bubble tea...lol. Soo many calories though, :(

This drink was recommended to me by Donna D. Nestea with Spenda. I buy the field berry an all natural fruit flavour with a splash of real tea. I put one packet into a bottle of Water shake it and have a wonderful refreshing drink. 5 calories. Doddie

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
