KM1284 7 Posted May 21, 2015 Hey guys so with pre-OP diet and being sleeved on 5/5 I have lost 25 lbs total, I was 258 to start, now I am just a little over two weeks I was out on purée/soft last Friday and I have not lost anything since starting that! Should I be concerned?
liannatx 897 Posted May 21, 2015 A stall is super common a few weeks after surgery. It is so common that it is referred to as the "Three Week Stall" , your stall just hit a little early. It can be frustrating, but if you keep getting in your Protein and fluids the loss will resume!
KM1284 7 Posted May 21, 2015 Thanks so I was told a liter of Water and 90 grams of Protein? From my surgeon, my nutritionist has been no help at all
Babbs 14,681 Posted May 21, 2015 Thanks so I was told a liter of Water and 90 grams of Protein? From my surgeon, my nutritionist has been no help at all What has your NUT told you? As early out as you are I don't think it's possible to get that much in, but just work your way up to it. It's like a full time job the first couple of months making sure you're getting your Protein and Water in! My guidelines (as many others) was 64oz of water and 60-90 grams of protein. Just do the very best you can!

Minksi 10 Posted May 22, 2015 I was sleeved on the 27th April and had stalled for the last nearly 2 weeks. I stopped weighing myself for a bit and finally today I have dropped half a kilogram. Just don't focus on the scales for a while and concentrate on drinking and eating and it will pass. Try not to let it get you down (I know it's hard)
