AussieSam 234 Posted May 21, 2015 It's common knowledge that revision surgeries have slower weight loss then original surgery. Rude people will always be rude so when I come across a rude comment pointed at me I always say yes I'm losing weight slowly but all good things come slowly and why rush nobody's chasing me. 4MRB4PHOTO 3,900 Posted May 21, 2015 I would have done my favorite response: Slowly raise your head up and look into their eyes. Tear up a bit. Ask in a small voice "Why would you say something like that?" Put head back down and don't say another word or look up. This really shuts 'em up except when they are stammering out an apology or lame explanation. That's nice. I'd just tell 'em to suck my big ole' booty! I would have told them the same thing, except 180 degrees around the corner.
CanyonBaby 1,852 Posted May 21, 2015 @@LSF The question is...are YOU happy with your success? If so, BEAM with PRIDE, SMILE with JOY, and be on you MERRY way!!! You don't answer to anyone BUT YOU. Sometimes, when you just walk away with that SMUG, SELF-SATISFIED way about you, it is MORE THAN ENOUGH, because it leaves them wondering....."HEY! Maybe she IS happy with who she is, and doesn't NEED my input". Maybe not, but worth a try....
LSF 264 Posted May 21, 2015 I'm happy and realized that she is just one of those coworkers that you can't discuss this with. So now I keep our conversations work related
