Babbs 14,681 Posted May 22, 2015 I say it is entirely how you react to seeing the fluctuations. If you understand that they are a normal part of the process and don't let it ruin your whole day, then by all means, weigh every day. I know I was that way in the beginning. If I stalled, saw a gain, it literally would ruin my whole day. Sick, I know, but that's just how it was for me (and I know many others feel that way, also). So I stuck to weighing only once a week, every Monday morning after a tinkle and completely nekkid. Around 6 months post op, I was so over freaking out over the scale, so I started weighing daily. I found it did help me do the needed adjustments to get things going if I was stalled, or maybe cut back on salt if I gained a couple pounds and I knew it wasn't from eating too much. I don't let the ups and downs and maybe back ups freak me out anymore, because I really know it's nothing I'm doing to cause it (most of the time ) Just normal fluctuations we all have.
