C037996 0 Posted June 20, 2007 My name is John and I am from Idaho Falls. I am 30 and had the surgery about 3 weeks ago. I have felt totally fine with no vomiting and little pain. However, I am very hungry and have cheated 3 times since surgery and had no problems. I have lost 15 lbs but am now scared because I have been able to each much more than I thought. I don't get my first adjustment for another 3 weeks. Did anyone else have this problem? I am not sure what to do. I don't want to cheat but it is getting more and more difficult not too. By the way, I appreciate this forum and look forward to learning from everyone.
Iluvharleys 15 Posted June 20, 2007 Welcome to LBT, and to bandland! John, just because you can eat that stuff, doesn't mean you should. This is a time for healing, and you aren't supposed to eat anything to make your stomach work/churn. If you are extremely hungry, call your doctors office and see what they recommend. They started me on mushies at 2 weeks, then solids at 4 weeks, but not all doctors do that. You really do need to follow your doctor's orders.
