Pam in MI 0 Posted June 20, 2007 I live in Michigan. Don't know about Medicaid or the hospital - sorry. I just had my seminar and met my dr. on Monday. He is in Indianapolis - 3 1/2 hours away!!!!!!!!! Before I went I went to lapband.com ant then just googled lap band and kept hitting sites. I found one that actually showed a surgery being performed. I think it was done in Hartford Conn. If you aren't the queasy type you should check it out. It was very interesting. I am wondering how tall you are. I'm 5'8" and weigh about 250. I think my "ideal" weight with a BMI of 22 or so is 150. I remember weighing that in high school and thought I was fat! I'd be thrilled to get to 170 which is about what I weighed 19 years ago when I got married. Thought I was fat then too!!!!!!!!
