vluckey 1 Posted June 20, 2007 I'm having some complications, and still in the process of finding out why and what. I'm curious to hear any stories of someone who had it REALLY BAD and was able to recover without losing their band.
txbbwstrwbry 0 Posted June 20, 2007 Depends on how long you have had your band I would suppose. Band erosion or leakage does not show up on any of the tests that can be done. Go by what you feel like, not what the doctors say. If you feel something is wrong and not right stand up for yourself. You may need it replaced or removed. I ended up with no choice but having mine removed, which I posted on your other question with a long sob story... lol :scalesno: But, I know I'm better for it. Just remember to listen to what your body is telling you, as there could be something serious going on and the doctors don't always know everything. Sincerely, Txbbwstrwbry
Alexandra 55 Posted June 20, 2007 Vanessa, if you're having complications you owe it to your self and your health to have them checked out and taken care of. It is not the worst thing in the world to have one's band removed--and sometimes it is a blessing. Keep it all in perspective; remember, this is about your HEALTH not about getting into a certain size. Let us know how you're doing!!
