Djmohr 6,965 Posted May 17, 2015 Every once in a great while I will have fresh frozen custard. I cannot eat much of it and always regret it afterward because it weighs heavy in my tummy but it is my absolute favorite treat.
gowalking 10,790 Posted May 17, 2015 Here's the best part of this...I have no guilty pleasures. I eat anything I want. I just do it sparingly and in doing that, without the guilt. For me, the guilt was always the amount I ate...or that I was the fat woman with Ring Dings, chips, and soda in her shopping cart. Life is so much better this way with a cart full of lean Protein, veggies, good carbs...and a few treats like thin pretzels, SF jello/pudding, and unsalted nuts. AvaFern 3,516 Posted May 17, 2015 I also eat whatever I want in moderation- except chocolate. chocolate is my heroin, I know no matter how sick it makes me I will keep eating it. So, I eat chocolate at Christmas, and that is it. Then I get to enjoy it for a few weeks and I don't have to worry about eating too much of it the rest of the year. KateP 359 Posted May 17, 2015 None. I have stopped associating food wth guilt, I refuse to spoil my occasional treats by regretting them afterwards. There is no food I never eat!
sharonintx 1,275 Posted May 17, 2015 I didn't give up anything either. There are several things that I used to like and now I don't care for them anymore but I have never excluded anything on purpose. Oddly, apples do not sit well anymore and I despise whipped cream. Babbs 14,681 Posted May 17, 2015 Full caffinated coffee with that horrible but delicious french vanilla coffee creamer. 2 cups a day. I just don't want to give it up.
LipstickLady 25,682 Posted May 17, 2015 No guilt here. I am 2 years post op and have been maintaining easily for over a year. I eat what I want, when I want. That said, I rarely want much and when I do, a few bites is plenty.
SeahawksFan 444 Posted May 17, 2015 It's actually a new guilty pleasure...Pink Champagne Cupcakes. Love these now I can't eat all the frosting on it as it's too sweet but the cake part is amazing. ~LA

roundisashape 712 Posted May 17, 2015 No guilt! But I'll never not love my occasional Peanut Butter and jelly sandwich. And I probably eat way too much frozen yogurt, but it's got Protein in it, lol. Sometimes that's what gets me over the edge to goal at night.
