ProudGrammy 8,322 Posted May 15, 2015 WILL THIS BE MY SURGEON? @@LousPeachy i always "assumed" that the surgeon i met with was the surgeon that performed my sleeve. why wouldn' he/she be??? but..... i've read a couple of posts from people who were surprised/not happy about the fact that a different dr really performed the surgery (initial doc was there too) i never thought to ask my doc if he performed the actual surgery 3.5+ years PO - i don't care who did the surgery whoever did the surgery did a wonderful job now i'm "perfect" and "cute as a button" the hospital i went to was/is a "teaching" hospital there were "probably" students observing the WLS,, maybe participating too if you are concerned...... ask your doc if he will be performing your sleeve will it be him, or maybe someone else in his firm? good luck bud kathy Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
