I don't have much of a supervised diet, or even a liquid diet requirement before surgery. So I'm kinda taking it into my own hands & starting to slowly replace meals with Protein shakes. I have YET to find a shake that I think tastes good. I've tried the Lean 25 and Premier Protein Shakes. My friend swears by the ones they sell in bulk at costco, but I'm scared to buy that much and not use it. Any suggestions?

@@burtonbn thats great no supervised diet but atleast you are going to take it easy and start working.. i havent tried ptotein shakes, i will start this weekend. I was told that after surgery, everything taste different so don't over buy. Lrt me know what you find & I will as well.

The costco shakes are really good. My doctor is having me go on a liquid diet starting Tuesday I get 4 cans of Boost a day which is like ensure. I have to do it for 2 weeks!

So how are my June WLS buddies doing? Anyone started their Pre-op diet yet? I don't start till Monday (Surgery June 1) and of course that is a traditional pig out holiday for me!! Then I'm taking my Girl Scout troop camping the weekend before surgery so while they are roasting marshmallows I'll be drinking my Protein drinks! Oh this is going to be difficult!
