pgarcia0812 6 Posted May 14, 2015 Has anyone else have/had experienced breaking out? I never had acne like this before the surgery so I'm curious if anyone else went through this or is going through this. I'm almost 2 months out to give you a time frame... Thanks for anyone's input
TXMissy 211 Posted May 15, 2015 Your body has gone through so many changes recently. It would make complete sense. I know my skin has been super dry. It's weird. I have been slathering cream for the last week. I'm just making sure to get as much Water as I can in and still working on getting these Vitamins in.
SMBFLORIDA 5 Posted May 18, 2015 Me too! I was so happy to see this post, so I know it's not just me! I ordered 3 of my regular face creams and each one of them broke me out immediately. My friend who is in the skincare industry said something like my chemistry has changed due to the surgery. So I am in the process of trying to find a new skincare line. In the meantime my friends that were always mad at me when we were young because I never broke out can enjoy my adult onset of acne! lol
pgarcia0812 6 Posted May 21, 2015 @@TXMissy yea im def keeping up my Vitamins i just think its crazy that with the amount of Water and no soda (thats when i use to get a pimple here or there) that my face has done this but then again major surgery i guess can do that with the amount of changes our bodies are going through. how far out are u? @@SMBFLORIDA HAHAHA i totally feel the same way about the never breaking out when younger! I see we had surgery around the same time..how are you doing?
ShellMilliner 233 Posted May 21, 2015 Estrogen is stored in fat, so as your body breaks it down large estrogen stores are released into the body. This is why theris often PMS type episodes, depression, sore nipples, acne, as well as nearly all the fun side effects of being preggo without the baby. The good news is it doesn't last long and the best thing you can do is drink, drink, drink your water!
