What did your breast's do?

Recommended Posts

Now I'm starting to get worried I haven't worried more about my boobs after surgery. 40 DDD right now. They aren't perky but they're pretty nice. I am going to stalk the plastics section now. I've heard push-ups and planking helps. Has anyone had luck with exercising their pecs for perkiness?

No. Did tons of yoga and planking and all that. I have great muscle tone and low body fat, but it doesn't help retain skin tone or breast tissue and you can't decide where the fat disappears from.

My friend that lost about 80 lbs swears by push-ups for perkiness. I have lost 83 lbs and gone from a DDD to a DD. I am about to start focusing on weight training and push-ups will def be in my regimen. Mine aren't that perky but they don't look horrible. They're big and have been big for a long time. I'm gonna try the pectorals exercises and go from there. Good luck!

Hi All !

I'm scheduled to have RNY on the 17th of June. I am 339, 5'4", 48. I look like the Michelin Man, lots of folds. Now my breasts already hang very low, point south and they're large. They get in the way of my arms as they seem to fall to the side of me. I HATE them, always have.

Some time after RNY, how do your breasts take the weight loss? Do some just fill back up? Do some go completely flat? Do some shrink and look perky? What happens to your breasts long after surgery?

Mine were soooooooooo big before sx'44DDD After the weight loss I was just normal big; 36DD...and then in 2013 I got breast cancer and had to have them both removed. My plastic surgeon reconstructed them, and I will never forget the day in her office when she asked me (prior to sx) would I like to go a little smaller. YIPEE..Yes I would. She made me a C cup. Come to think of it I will also never forget the stricken look on my hubbies face either when she asked that question and said YES. All my life they made me look fat even when I wasn't that fat yet..and never could wear a button down shirt. The breast cancer was very scary but I am so happy today to have perky average boobies.

Mine actually didn't get that much smaller. I was a 44C/D before. Now I'm a full D cup in a 36/38 band.

Just saw this--

44DDD now 36 DD. Which is where I was 10 years ago (pre-obesity) Not flat, just need some good 'ok firming up. Either they get tighter thru exercise, or these babies are getting a lift! Either way, I'm good with it.

Honestly. I don't care if these babies are gone. My spouse might but that's what magazines are for. Look at those boobs. I will just thank god for the day when I can get in the car and fasten my seat belt with out feeling choked. Lol

Just found this thread and thought I'd chime in because I know of a fix that I swear by and LOVE. There is a company called Bravo Bra Pads (www.bravobrapads.com) and they make inserts that go into your bra and I SWEAR BY THESE THINGS! I wear them every day. They fill out your bra and perk up the girls. And they are SUPER afforable at only about $15 a pair. I've had mine for over a year and a half and they are still in amazing shape through daily wear and washes.

Also, just as a tip: they're giving away a $25 Gift Certificate on the radio show this Friday night to a lucky caller. :) If you listen to the show this Friday (www.backstagepassradio.com) at 7pm PST when Carnie Wilson is on (she was sick last week, so she's going to be on this week), you can call in and win some to try!

But honestly, either way, get yourself some of these. I promise you will thank me. :)

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
