LipstickLady 25,682 Posted May 13, 2015 Only you can decide if and when you are ready. Personally, I felt I had eaten MORE than my share of food in my lifetime. I was VERY ready to get out from under the hold food had over me and more importantly, the weight that was holding me back from fully living my life.I am two years out tomorrow, and I have not regretted a single moment of my life since my surgery. I can buy clothes in any store. I can climb stairs without breathing heavy, I can eat (almost) any foods I want to. I Zumba, kickbox, and do mud runs with my two athletic teenagers. It's a thrill every time they borrow MY clothes. (MY CLOTHES!!! THEY WANT TO BORROW MY CLOTHES!!!!)There is no cake/pizza/fries/ice cream on earth that even touches how great being thin makes me feel. NONE.
