BrennaBoo 5 Posted May 13, 2015 Hi, want to leave a quick note here. I have been reading the forum for sometime but finally joining in. I am just about 13 hours away from my sleeve surgery! I'm so excited but my poor 11year old is so scared. Brings me to tears that she has to worry so much.
Brigiter 40 Posted May 13, 2015 (edited) I felt the same way 8 days ago, I was convinced I would not survive, hug you kid and assure her you will be ok, both of you get into that God(mahoma, buda,Adoni) will be looking over you, and visualize you getting out of surgery perfectly fine, from that point have no doubt, it's not something you can control anyway, but you can bring the best of energies to it and let it go! Healthy_life2 8,324 Posted May 13, 2015 @@BrennaBoo The big day! so excited for you. You are doing this in part for your 11 year old. He/She will be so happy that you are healthy and a great roll model. You get to prolong your life and spend more of that time with your 11 year old. Get ready for the amazing things on the other side of being sleeved. Hope you recover well, Jenn
BrennaBoo 5 Posted May 15, 2015 I had my surgery last Wednesday 5/13 and going today 5/15. Feeling really good, all that really hurts is if i take to big of a sip of any of my liquids. no nausea but they put anti-nausea patch on before surgery. Excited for this journey! BrennaBoo 5 Posted May 17, 2015 Doing well I think, no nausea and not much pain with surgical sites. I do recommend if you're having surgery soon invest in sime silky or slippy PJ's it makrs it easier to turn in bed! I have been sipping on wwater and my Protein Shakes throughout the day and its still hard to get the recommend amount in. I still feel bloated from surgery, cant wait until that goes away. Hoping the up coming sleevers have a good experience as im having.
