****505 girl 18 Posted May 10, 2015 I'm 9 days post op. I've noticed I tend to not drink my 2 ounces of Protein because I feel full for 2 to 3 hours after. I would rather sip Water all day. I've only been getting about 4 to 6 oz of protein a day so I can drink water. I feel like I'm always thirsty
Chele H 427 Posted May 10, 2015 Try the Isopure clear Protein Drinks. I have never tried them and from what I have read here you either love them or hate them. You can get them at Vitamin Shop, they are expensive but you need some Protein. Hydration is crucial at first but soon enough you will have to increase your protein. ****505 girl 18 Posted May 10, 2015 I've tried every flavor and they are disgusting. I've tried unflavored Protein and gag.
liannatx 897 Posted May 10, 2015 Syntrax Nectars mixed with Water are much lighter and less filling than the usual Protein drinks. They come in a variety of flavors.
Miss Mac 6,262 Posted May 10, 2015 I got through that phase with the Syntrax Nectars mixed with Crystal Lite Lemonade.
****505 girl 18 Posted May 10, 2015 I'll look into Syntrax. I'm fine with the taste of my Protein but they are just so heavy and I worry about dehydration last Tuesday I was almost admitted back into the hospital.
mae7365 372 Posted May 10, 2015 I love Syntrax Matrix with Water and sweetened almond milk (4 ozs each). The flavors are good and they aren't thick like many of the Protein shakes I've tried. And, they have lots of Protein.< /p>

jenbaby75 283 Posted May 14, 2015 Try Isopure, and mix it with something. I have used Crystal Light, G2, and Iced Tea. I cut it in half, so 1/2 a bottle, or 10oz of Isopure, with 10oz mixer. 20g of Protein, and 20oz fluids!! I sip it all day, adding ice as I go. I have only tried Grape Frost, and Iced Tea Lemon. GutBgone 16 Posted May 14, 2015 I have Premier Protein but they are way to sweet The reason I'm here is that there is no such thing as "to sweet". Lol
Inner Surfer Girl 12,015 Posted May 15, 2015 I was able to use ProtiDiet chicken and Tomato Soups during my clear and full liquid phases and they really helped me get my Protein. I was tired of sweet protein all the time so the savory helped.
