OMG, thanks for this thread! "Going down there" is one of my fav. things to do with my boyfriend and I always "finish the job" so to speak. He agrees that he's very spoiled...anyway...

Here's my question, one of my fav. positions is missionary only with my legs up around his neck. I'm getting banded in Aug, I know there's recovery so I'll need to be careful but has anyone done this particular position? Did it affect your port?

Thanks everyone and sorry if it was TMI.

First of all to properly answer your questions I will need full color pictures, maybe video on dvd. It wouldn't hurt to have some audio tapes as well. After I check things out I will get back to you, k?

LOL Matt!

Sorry, I have a fairly visible job so no racy pictures of me ever! Maybe you should do some field research and get back to me.

Wow you guys, now I didn't think of that either, so if anyone knows the answer to that question about the "position" , legs and all, let me know. It would be good to know. Boy are we getting to know each other or what?????

The position that NEWGIRL07 is describing hurts my port. I really can't have anything pressing down on my stomach. If he tries to put my legs in that position I just shift them. Any other position is fine!

I wonder if the pain changes after you have lost some weight. Maybe with less in the way, there would be less pressure on the port? Any input anyone?? my surgery date is coming up and having the answer to this would be way helpful for me and my DH. mahalo, and aloha

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
