zuchinno 4 Posted August 22, 2007 Heh. My doc said that I could have watered down cream of wheat in my full liquids stage, but to make sure I drink while I eat it. I mixed it with Protein Powder and light yogurt smoothie. Yum.

jenlovestoshop 0 Posted August 24, 2007 Hi, everyone. I just got my band on Tuesday, 8/21. It was a birthday present to myself-I turned 40 on Monday, Aug. 20th. I just joined this group this morning. I hope to get a lot of support from the group and to be a source of supoort for the other members, too. Good luck with everyone's surgery and recovery. jenjuice 0 Posted August 25, 2007 I entered band land August 23rd. I cam home from the hospital today. Sill really sore from the air but I look forward to the future. href="http://www.TickerFactory.com/weight-loss/wf4Y3Xz/"> <img border="0" src="http://tickers.TickerFactory.com/ezt/t/wf4Y3Xz/weight.pn:rolleyes
pjanes54 0 Posted August 25, 2007 Banded Aug 23 and doing great. Walking, sipping, taking pain meds...all is good. If a big baby like me can make it through this...anyone can! This was my first surgery and I was terrified and I am happy to say the experience was not EVEN a fraction as bad as I thought it would be. All went very well and I'd do it again in an instant. We'll see what tomorrow brings!?!

It will be an interesting ride for sure!
jenjuice 0 Posted August 26, 2007 I feel like I could have some today but I am only on day 3 not supposed to have it until day 4. I did have some applesauce yesterday so I could possibly go to the bathroom. It was successful. LOL I am glad I had the surgery but had some food regret yesterday. I need to think that food is fuel....I'll get there.

I did have some applesauce yesterday so I could possibly go to the bathroom. It was successful. LOL I am glad I had the surgery but had some food regret yesterday. I need to think that food is fuel....I'll get there. I'm on full liquids for 2 weeks, then 2 weeks mushies, 2 weeks soft foods, then gradual introduce reg food one at a time. My clinic is very conservative that way. It's going to be a rough, bumpy ride and the road is curvy and hilly (can you tell I just LOVE the road/wls association?!) Did I mention there's NO SHOULDER on this road. Okay, time to say good night. :notagree
