meSparkle83 153 Posted May 7, 2015 I have a question, is cranberry juice okay to drink after surgery? I drank it before to help with bladder issues and kidney stones.. Thanks in advance.
CanyonBaby 1,852 Posted May 7, 2015 I don't know why not, but I would ask your surgical team for clearance if you are unsure. Let us know what you hear!
meSparkle83 153 Posted May 7, 2015 I sure will. I meet with them tomorrow and I will ask if I remember. Thank you!
Miss Mac 6,262 Posted May 7, 2015 I was drinking sugar-free cranberry juice right from the start. I mix it with Bari-wise Cranberry-Grape Protein powder.
Boombalatty 94 Posted May 7, 2015 Personally, I don't like the taste of cranberry, but know they can be good for kidney health. Every now and then I'll buy a bottle of cranberry pills from a grocery or drug store and take those instead of drinking cranberry juice. You might want to consider that if you are worried about the calories

Bandista 7,466 Posted May 13, 2015 I get Trader Joe's unsweetened cranberry juice and put a half cup into a 32 ounce bottle of Water with a capful of aloe Vera -- makes a really nice healthy drink. I don't do artificial sweeteners but if I am craving sweet I can put in a little Steevia. Note, if you use Steevia be sure to get 100% as there are some brands out there mixing it with artificial stuff or malto-determine, yuck.
