First picture

So, my surgery was September 25, 2014. I have slowed way down on my weight loss, but I am still following the plan and exercising. I have always been the type to run from a camera. This past Sunday I decided to take a picture of my own to see what all the fuss has been about by my appearance. And for the FIRST time in quite a long while I was not embarrassed by what I seen. My starting weight was 222, I am 5'4 1/2. Yep. Throwing in that half. Sunday when I took that picture I weighed in at 157. I still have 17 more to go until goal. But couldn't be happier with my life at the moment.

You look great! And you are proof that it's good to take progress photos throughout this journey. I HATE HATE HATE cameras and photos, but I've forced myself to take some progress pics along the way so I can see the difference. Still won't let anyone take pics of me at family gatherings or whatnot though!

Thank you everyone. I have lost another 9 pounds since this picture. I am 8 pounds away from goal. Yah!!! When I hit goal that will be a total amount of weight lost of 82 pounds.
