LoreLu 79 Posted May 7, 2015 As red as your bruises are, I'd put cool compresses on it to prevent the bruise from spreading any more. Once you see a light yellow tinge forming around the edges, go to a warm compress to help your body resorb the blood. It should take a couple days with cool, a couple more with warm.
