Huge bummer...

Just realized that I cannot begin soft moist Proteins until May 13th... This whole time since before and immediately following surgery I understood it was 2 wks liquid and then switched over to gradually eating foods again... I was crossing the days off on my calendar. Feeling bummed. I'm already down 23 lbs... I wish I could switch over.

I see my doc may 11th for my 2 week post op. I pray I can do soft Proteins. I need to have some texture...

I couldn't agree with you more. I am seeing my Surgeon for a fup and staple removal this Thursday. She said on the phone a moment ago it's imperative you come, we need to take out staples, do a weight, discuss eating, I almost gasped. . . I said EATING?? Lol. So there is hope after all. Good luck at your appt. Fingers crossed for us both. I just want a tiny nibble of scrambled eggs so bad.
