KM1284 7 Posted May 4, 2015 Who else is having surgery tomorrow?! What is everyone bringing to the hospital?! I feel like my nutritionist was horrible and gave me no information about after surgery other then that I would be on a two week liquid after- do I have to bring Protein Shakes to hospital?! Someone please help!
sharonintx 1,275 Posted May 4, 2015 Congratulations! I am not having surgery tomorrow but figured I'd say good luck anyway. You don't need to bring Protein shakes to the hospital and they will give you all the info you need for your post op diet while you are there. Keep us posted:)

wishful_thinking 18 Posted May 5, 2015 Good luck! It's a good idea to bring a robe, non-slip slippers for walking in the hospital, and some sort of chapstick. My lips were terribly dry and I was so glad that I packed that.
rwoods200 39 Posted May 5, 2015 Good luck!!! I don't have a surgery date yet, but I'm for sure bringing my laptop and nook with me when I do have it. Oh and comfy pj's.

Shaun_na 15 Posted May 5, 2015 I am! Chapstick is a must. I've also seen suggestions for a pillow so that you can comfortably brace yourself on the ride home. Best of luck! We got this!!
