Any type 1 diabetics with sleeve?

I am type 1 diabetic on a insulin pump and finding it hard to get my sugar under 300 ... Was sleeved a week ago so was wondering if anyone has been through this?

I'm type 1 and in a pump. I had my surgery in jan. They likely have you steroids which causes high blood sugar. Be sure you are keeping close contact with your endo. It gets better. :)

yeah mine was super high right after surgery and then slowly went back to normal. your body went through a surgery, it's going to be crazy for a little bit.

      The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

        Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
