After 7 months of medical testing my surgery is finally tomorrow (May 4th, 2015).

I've yoyo dieted for many years. I think I've done everything there is out there from Vegan to Atkins. After an injury, last year, prevented me from exercising I decided to go to another seminar on bariatric surgery. I'd gone to one many years ago and thought I could handle things on my own. Losing 20lbs gaining 30 over and over again. Since I've been unsuccessful on my own, and now limited to swimming only, I decided to pursue surgery. I'm happy, excited and very ready to move forward.

So exciting to know that your life is about to change for the better! Please try to keep us updated on your progress. I have my pre-op class Tuesday, final appt with surgeon Wednesday and then my paperwork will be submitted to Aetna for approval. I can't wait to be where you are at on this part of your journey! God bless and good luck!

Best wishes for a great surgical experience. I had an uneventful one but I am only 6 days out. No nausea or pain, so it can happen. I did have "sore" tummy upper left side, where they took the stomach out. Just listen to the doctors and nurses.
