joleno 24 Posted May 2, 2015 Anyone else experience this? I will eat and start to feel like I have to belch, but the gas feels like it's trapped under the food I ate and if I try too hard the food will come up instead. I usually sit there and struggle with the pain until it passes, but it is really miserable and then afterwards even though I feel better food just doesn't sound good at that point. foodfighter78 258 Posted May 2, 2015 I have the same problem, pain on my upper stomach until I finally push it out. I'm not even eating that much, I'm 7 weeks bypass.
Rommy 7 Posted May 2, 2015 I get this is I go too fast or take bites bigger than the tip of a spoon. I'm hoping it will subside, but try much smaller bites and eat at baby's pace. Not fun, but not much about this is.
Elode 8,093 Posted May 3, 2015 I do this all the time. I just stop eating and walk.
rdy4chng 12 Posted May 3, 2015 I agree with Romny. It's caused by eating too fast and taking big bites. I bought toddler sililverware from Oneida It was pretty cheap... I used it to "train" little bites and you have to eat slower!
