progressing from 2 to 3 ounces?

Happy Friday everyone! How did you all go about progressing from eating 2 oz to eating 3 oz? Did u just gradually eat more until u felt the discomfort? Did you start with slider foods? I don't want to push myself but I don't want to be stuck at 2 oz because I'm afraid. Thank you :)

I think it will just come with time. There is a lot of angry tissue in your body after the surgery. It takes months to be healed. If you are like I was, there is no point in pushing yourself or else you will be in pain and pain means your body is not going to heal correctly.

I don't know how far out from your surgery you are but I would just stick to the suggested foods that were given to you by the center you are working with.

      Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
      What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
