rp1980 116 Posted May 1, 2015 The NUT wasn't kidding when she said my new pouch could only handle 2-4 ounces. After three weeks of liquids and Protein Shakes, I had my favorite meal - steamed blue crab (I'm from Maryland). I had four ounces and it was too much! I felt some still in my esophagus! But it was delicious and I feel close to normal human being now. I just know to only do 2-3 ounces for a bit!
liannatx 897 Posted May 1, 2015 Yep! I am still only able to handle 2-2.5 oz of solids. 3oz will make me slime and feel ill. I measure pretty much everything solid to avoid it.
PresentTense 3 Posted May 1, 2015 Can you taste the difference between blue and red?
MissLiss 71 Posted May 3, 2015 Yes, I fill up quickly and need to be mindful of what is going on inside while I eat- brings me back to one of my original problems- lol. I think also, after liquids, soft foods are a different experience and need to be learned. I am re-learning everything now and you know what? I'm loving it! I'm not allowed crab for 2 weeks yet but you have definitely planted a seed. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

rp1980 116 Posted May 6, 2015 I started measuring everything out too. I find four ounces is too much, so I try to stick to three. I'm getting there!
