@ dawnyoung872... Where do you find the stuff like apple powder and Torani products

The apple powder is one of two things. The Mott's brand is one of those packets they sale to mix in with Water bottles. The other is sugar free apple cider mix. Torani syrups can be found online, Wal-Mart, grocery stores. They are usually found where the coffee is. We have a place called world market that sells all kinds of sugar free flavors. I found more there than any where else. If you don't have one online is a great option. Torani has their own website. Good luck!

Go to my bariatric pantry. You can order tons of samples there. I ordered the entire syntax matrix and nectar lines, Protein Soups and also ordered samples from Unjury. I have been told not to order too much because tastes can change. I will probably order a couple tubs. I ordered several sugar free coffee syrups so I can play with changing the flavors. I got those from Amazon

If you want the powder Protein Shakes Matrix makes some good ones like Peanut Butter & Mint Cookie. nectar, also makes a few I like-like Carribean Cooler & Perfect chocolate. The only thing I hate that the shakes don't blend up as well as I'd like them too. So now I drink EAS AdvantEDGE Carb Control (pre-made) there 100 calories and 17 grams of Protein per shake. I love that I can just put them in the fridge and one I want one its already ready.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
