JamieLogical 8,713 Posted May 10, 2016 @@tspinks06 I looked up BariatricPal's pastics coordinator for you. Her name is @@Stacy Eckel and her email is stacy@bariatricpal.com so you may want to shoot her an email or PM for details on any special package pricing BP is offering. I had already booked my surgery in September before the affiliation was announced, so I don't know how much it could potentially save you.
LisaMergs 2,854 Posted July 1, 2016 Curious- what kind of cost savings are we looking at to have procedures done in Mexico? Are we looking at about half the cost of the USA? Just curious. No where near ready, but figure it to be prudent if I start saving now- especially with three kids in college! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App Depending on the surgeon you choose in Mexico versus where you would be having surgery in the US (some cities have much higher costs than others) you can expect to pay about 1/3 to 1/2 of what you would pay in the States. I had an extended Tummy Tuck with muscle repair, breast lift with implants, fat grafting to my butt, and all-over Lipo in Mexico in 2011 for about $11,000 (including the recovery house stay). Where I live in the US, I would have paid probably a little over $30,000 and would have been sent home a day or two after surgery to fend for myself!

Michilingi 66 Posted July 16, 2016 We're trying to research (and possibly work with) the top plastic surgeons in Mexico. I've found that our members are usually right on target when it comes to this kind of info. Which plastic surgeon in Mexico have you used or are looking to use, in the near future? Please provide all contact info for any plastics surgeon you're recommending. So i'm wondering if there was something set up for a discount or if it is still in the works

bvenegas 89 Posted December 4, 2016 I'm scheduled for arm lift in tj in 12/22. I met with 2 doctors: Dr Victor Gutierrez and Dr cardenas. This was a hard choice since I really think I'm in good hands with both, but I chose Dr Gutierrez since he also specialized in arms, that was an advantage I think he has. I plan on getting lower body lift next year and I might chose Dr cardenas for that procedure, not sure but for now that's how I feel. I just see she does more of the time tucks and those sort of procedures, but I'm not 100% on that yet. I would highly recommend both of these doctors. I'll be needing plastics next summer. We're working on something interesting as I type this....I hope to have some news for you in a week or two. I am wondering where BariatricPal is with this venture? I am closing in on goal and saving accordingly. Julie norton 2,850 Posted January 11, 2017 (edited) I like Dr Ramos . He did a facial fat graft for me a month ago. I am visiting him again for a IPo thread lift later this month. I found the facilities (clinic/hospital)clean, the Dr efficient and cordial and the transportation to and from the San Diego airport worthwhile. I understand this is not a long term fix; the price is nice for a friend and myself to look a bit better in our 60's.... transmformme 26 Posted January 12, 2017 Please be very careful about who you pick to have plastics with. Make sure they are a certified plastic surgeon and not a general surgeon doing plastics. Where can we find The website to the doctor you recommend? Have you heard of Dr. Alberto Lara?

sputnam2010 0 Posted January 29, 2017 I have gone to two different Plastic Surgeons in Tijuana Mexico, and although the first one had a beautiful state of the arch Facility, cosmed, my results were not all that wonderful. My second plastic surgery, was with Dr. Victor Gutierrez, as listed my another poster. And I am in full agreement with her assessment of the surgeon. He is a wonderfully gifted surgeon. who was your surgeon at cosmed
mbuczkowski 272 Posted June 25, 2017 I am just starting to research. I would like to get arms, breast and neck done before my vacation to Hawaii. I started researching and am leaning towards Dr Camacho-Melo and Dr. Cardenas. Has BariatricPal formed any relationships with either of these Dr's?

Dr. Cardenas has several different packages she can offer depending on the procedures your looking at and what can be done safely at one time. I didn't see any packages on her on her web page . Does she discuss them when you discuss what you want
