rosieuk 58 Posted July 16, 2015 Sounds like you're doing everything right. My weight loss would be exactly the same as you if I hadn't had a week of reflux when I couldn't eat at all. Also my NUT says if you lose too fast you run the risk of losing muscle mass, which makes it easier to put back on. So well done!
smcobos2 43 Posted July 16, 2015 Yea that makes sense, thanks I have been able to do some lifting at the gym so maybe it is the muscle. I'm trying to avoid loose skin any way I can
Heather O'Connor 12 Posted July 20, 2015 Hi all, Just checking in to say how I am doing and that is to say not that well. I actually had gained back 10 pounds in the last month and a half. Then today I weighed myself and discovered that I had again lost that 10 pounds so now I am back at 271 pounds and not to happy about it. but I also look at it this way at least I am back to the weight I was back on May 30th. craigcu 96 Posted July 20, 2015 That's awesome guys! Good job! My weight loss has been kind of slow :/ this morning I was at 236. Down 32 lbs. I exercise 3 days a week. Get about 900 calories a day. Hope I'm doing everything right I was told when I was eating at that level I wasnt eating enough and my body would go into conservation mode. Check with your NUT to see if thats the case for you. If not, then slow and steady does win the race!! Congrats all..
craigcu 96 Posted July 20, 2015 OK 5/19ers, anyone up for a new challenge? I want to run a 5k race nd I'ld like all of you to join me.. I'm going to use the C25k app and training program starting in august and should be ready to go by 8 weeks. We all need a challenge, we are facing the mental challenge and emotional challenge, now lets take on the physical.. Seems crazy to me to suggest it, but there you go. There is a rock N Roll 5k being held in Las Vegas in early november and by that time we could all be ready to run it and actually complete it. Its a whole weekend of nutrition info and workout gear and even some sessions as I understand it. PLus, Its Vegas!!.. That will put us all 6 mo. post op, a milestone by my reckoning and a reason to Celebrate.< /p> Anyone interested in participating? Even better, is anyone living in vegas who might want to put up with all of us? Regardless, rooms are cheap and we certainly wont be spending the big money on the buffets!! Anyone interested?? On a separate note I am on such a major stall it's driving me crazy. No weight lost for 10 days now. How the heck can this be?! I eat like a bird????
