thelakeisgone 25 Posted April 27, 2015 I have a little less than 2 months before we submit for approval. My weight fluctuates a lot (were talking almost 10 lbs), and at my first class my weight was up. So now I'm so worried I will be denied because of it. I'm trying to stay under my first weight to *hopefully* make up for it. Has anyone been denied for their weight fluctuations? ??
NikkiDoc 312 Posted April 27, 2015 Does your insurance require you to lose weight? Mine just required that I have a physician/dietician supervised diet. I did lose weight for the first 5 months and then stalled. I gained some weight back in the 3 months between the end of the diet and when the paperwork was submitted to insurance. It was submitted on Tues and approval on that Friday. So it did not seem to effect my approval but each insurance company has different requirements.
rnyryry 8 Posted April 27, 2015 My insurance, Aetna, says no NET gain from the start to the finish. I gained 3 pounds the first month but overall had a net loss of 6 pounds so double check your insurance requirements.
thelakeisgone 25 Posted April 27, 2015 My insurance doesn't require it and they aren't clearly stated like aetna. But I'm worried they'll deny because I have such a large range.
