woke up with sore scratchy throat

I know had a tube down my throat for surgery but had been fine up until today . Had gastric band on 4/23. Now lymph nodes at base of neck feel swollen. My throat is a little sore and scratchy? Trying Protein Shakes today don't really like them. I like the Clear Liquids much better. They seem to be going down ok just seem to coat my throat and make it worse. Anything to worry about?

It's from the ET Tube....one of the things everyone should be aware of.

Simple solution is to suck on throat lozenges, cough drops.

I think I was allergic to pain pill. Once I quit taking it my throat swelling and soreness went away.
