Does anyone know if it's ok to do Pilates at 16 weeks post op?

I was cleared at six weeks to see what exercise I could tolerate. But, I tell you what......Pilates really kicks my a**. I am exhausted when I am done, but it is a good exhausted. Because of orthopedic and balance issues, I have to modify sometimes. Maybe you could start easy and see how you feel the next day.

16 weeks? Unless your doctor has ordered you not to exercise, I'd say go for it. I was exercising by week 2 and back to Water aerobics by week 3. I've done a little of everything since.

My doctor cleared me at 5 weeks to "hell, train for the Olympics if you want to" LOL. Call them up and ask!

Ok just checking because I did some yesterday and where my largest incision is was hurting I guess from the pulling. I will just start slow. Thanks for the responses.
