Biloxigirl 70 Posted April 25, 2015 Does anyone know if it's ok to do Pilates at 16 weeks post op?
Miss Mac 6,262 Posted April 25, 2015 I was cleared at six weeks to see what exercise I could tolerate. But, I tell you what......Pilates really kicks my a**. I am exhausted when I am done, but it is a good exhausted. Because of orthopedic and balance issues, I have to modify sometimes. Maybe you could start easy and see how you feel the next day. BLERDgirl 6,417 Posted April 25, 2015 16 weeks? Unless your doctor has ordered you not to exercise, I'd say go for it. I was exercising by week 2 and back to Water aerobics by week 3. I've done a little of everything since.

Mrs.RRn 2,111 Posted April 25, 2015 (edited) My doctor cleared me at 5 weeks to "hell, train for the Olympics if you want to" LOL. Call them up and ask! Edited April 25, 2015 by Mrs.RRn
Biloxigirl 70 Posted April 25, 2015 Ok just checking because I did some yesterday and where my largest incision is was hurting I guess from the pulling. I will just start slow. Thanks for the responses.
