Looking for all inclusive cash pricing in Houston.

Recommended Posts

I will be self pay as I am overweight but have almost no problems, and never have. I am looking for surgeons who have all inclusive pricing. I am looking for someone who has their own clinic to preform the surgery. That way I get no surprises on the bills. I do not want 20 bills coming later, even if its the same price. I want to have a budget and know I can pay my bills. I prefer the Houston area but no opposed to San Antonio, Austin or Dallas. Thank you for any information.

I'm interested in the replies you get. I'm in SE Texas too. I'll have a hard enough time convincing my husband to go along with the surgery, much less even consider talking him into believing it would be safe in Mexico, though that was originally my plan. He's against the whole thing. Of course, he's 5'11" and probably weighs 150 lbs soaking wet and has never even been on a diet, so he doesn't understand how it could possibly be so hard to just lose the weight.... I've been considering Dr. Thomas Borland in New Iberia, LA. Complete price (excluding hotel and travel) is $9800, no surprises. That includes his fee, hospital stay, operation, anesthesia, etc. He has good reviews too. He has a website with info, though I don't know if I'm allowed to post a link.

@txmt. That does not seem like a bad price. I have found prices listed but since do not specifically say it includes the hospital, I figured it was the surgeon fee only. I have found a lot of recommended surgeons, but do not want to call them all. I too looked at Mexico. My husband needs this too and for the price of one here we could have both in Mexico. He also has problems with going there. I think the big problem with going there is they are able to remove every bad review and it makes them harder to find. I believe most if not all of the good ones are from real people but there has to be bad ones. A huge number of Americans are rude and expectant people, there is no way they are all happy and satisfied. I feel at a loss looking online.
