Awesome, thanks! My surgeon said this won't be nearly as painful as gallbladder surgery so I'm hopeful this won't be too bad. I don't plan on being in bed much. My doc requires I be up and walking when they send me up to my room after surgery. I'm looking forward to getting this started! The wait is killing me!

Hi I'm from Syracuse and am having my surgery with dr Graber on the 28th this month. Kinda nervous and excited. How is the pain after surgery? Can you still swallow medications that you need to take? Thanks all.

Yay for you! I didn't really have much pain, but the gas discomfort was no joke. It was like up around my shoulders and made it difficult to get comfy. But, walking the halls relieved it a little, so I did a lot of that. And I was able to swallow pills right away without any problems.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

      2. BlondePatriotInCDA

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
