Sherry0404 10 Posted April 20, 2015 Hey everyone I'm only 10 days out but I have a question. I'm wondering how it was of you who have experienced hot summer is or who live in warmer climates keep cool. we get some pretty hot summers out here in BC and I have always got through them by gulping down bottles of cold Water. I now find that I can only take a few sips here and there and I'm wondering how I'm going to cool down this summer?
Babbs 14,681 Posted April 21, 2015 You will find as you lose weight, you will be so much cooler than before. You will even get to a certain point where you're COLD all the time! I'm not going to miss the constantly sweaty summers
Sherry0404 10 Posted April 21, 2015 O thanks babbs I never thought of that before... I'm 10 days post op and have about 2 more months until our summer hit so hopefully I can be down 40 lbs by then. That would certainly make a difference :-)
joatsaint 2,814 Posted April 21, 2015 Don't forget, in 2 months, you'll be able to drink much more and more often than you can now. And as I lost weight, I didn't have as much insulation to keep me hot. Losing a few inches here and there really does make a difference in how hot you feel. :-P
