LosingSomeLisa 94 Posted April 20, 2015 My original surgery date was April 1st --- which is funny, because it did end up being an April Fools joke. Half way through the pre-op diet and one week prior to surgery, we found out that my insurance had an exclusion for out-of-network bariatric services. EIGHT MONTHS I had been with this surgery group and we find out just days before the date. It was like being pregnant for 8 1/2 months, buying new nursery items, changing my diet, going to a zillion check-ups only to be told "Actually, you're not having a baby after all". Anyway, the very same day I contacted an in-network provider and my surgery has been re-scheduled almost one month to the day of the original date. All things happen for a reason! I have my pre-op appointment this afternoon, and I'm getting REALLY excited!! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
