Looking for Veteran Sleevers who have done plastics post sleeve

Well today is the big day, I am 7 months post sleeve and at my goal weight, so having a Tummy Tuck and breast lift. I know some suggest to wait till over a year but my doc and I felt comfortable going ahead now. Wondering how others faired with the pain meds in conjunction with their sleeve. Post op instructions say to decrease Water intake for the first 2 weeks which does concern me a little, but high on Protein . Any good suggestions or hints to make the recovery a good and easy one. So far post sleeve everything has been great, no complications.

I was sleeved Dec 2011; goal Feb 2013; plastics Oct 2013... so a much more mature sleeve by then. I really didn't need pain meds after I left the surgical clinic (they were in my IV). I advise taking it with a tiny bit of food or at least a thick Protein drink to protect your tummy.

I was one of those who go the real "boost" in hunger during the healing phase. I didn't gain weight because I stayed with Protein protein and veggies but i felt like i wanted to eat constantly. Others lose their appetitie and I think they need to work to eat because your body really needs nutrients to heal. Plastics are a big deal - I had NO complications but recovery was still a bear!
