CanyonBaby 1,852 Posted April 20, 2015 You guys will do great! Have all your ducks in a row, all that you'll need for your recovery so you don't have to run out to the store (you're not going to want to), have all your shakes, baby food, sf popsicles ready to go. Get yourself a heating pad, some Kleenex for the "sad" times, some great movies, an AWESOME Teddy Bear, some comfy pj's and a whole lot of unflavored Protein Powder. Now your set, welcome to your "new life"! Bless you on your journey!
desertgirl_74 114 Posted April 20, 2015 (edited) I'm scheduled to be at the surgical center at 6:30 tomorrow. I'm not sure what time surgery will actually be...assuming 8-9:00?? I'm in the Middle East so my time is 7 hrs ahead of eastern time zone. I should be done while most of you are still sleeping. I'm trying to get my last few ducks in their respective places. Lol. Bottled Water should be delivered later this afternoon. I already have lots of unflavored Protein (picked that up from the pharmacy last week). I have crystal light and a bunch of SF Jello boxes. I still have to pick up a few things at the commissary, mostly stuff for my kids while I'm in the hospital. Hopefully I don't forget anything for myself. Shopping outside the U.S. is challenging enough....no SF Popsicles here. I'll just have to be creative. Looks like it's gonna be Dixie cups and crystal light. ????
