wannaBthinsoon 1,634 Posted April 19, 2015 I bought those months before I was even enrolled in my current health insurance, not knowing if I would even be approved for surgery or not. I hated them. I tried one, and had to throw it out. I don't think I could even swallow it by holding my nose. I may try Isopure after surgery to get a little extra Protein in, but not those Protein Shots ever again.
ProudGrammy 8,322 Posted April 19, 2015 liquid Protein shots. 42g of Protein in only 3oz. @@erose321 from what i've "heard" Protein Shots aren't the greatest/best not positive I made a mistake once, i thought i was wrong!! being sleeved in 4 days you've lost 38 lbs pre-op that's great!!! keep up the good work best of luck kathy congrats
liannatx 897 Posted April 19, 2015 I used them the first week post-op when I was on Clear liquids. I poured half of one into my Vitamin Water Zero and it was fine taste wise. They have a mix of proteins: collagen Protein, whey Protein isolate, and casein protein. My doctor was fine with them, but as soon as I was on fuller liquids I started using whey Protein Isolate powders... this is supposedly the most easily absorbed and used protein. I love the Syntrax Nectars, Fuzzy Navel and Cappuccino are my favorites.

slowbutsure 6 Posted April 19, 2015 I tried these but since I am sensitive to dairy the Casein Protein affected me. They fruit punch flavor was sweet but not too bad but the blueberry one was awful. It is a good concentrated protein if your system can handle them. I was just sleeved on April 7.
