Jinean 10 Posted April 17, 2015 Got my first fill today... 5cc's. I was very surprised that he was that aggressive the first time! I was expecting much less.... I'm excited and ready to start losing weight!!
meggs353 118 Posted April 18, 2015 Good luck! You'll probably notice a big change in how you feel while eating, so take it easy as you transition from liquids, to soft foods, to real foods over the next couple of days! Remember all the band rules about eating slowly, taking small bites, and chewing well.
2muchfun 8,927 Posted April 18, 2015 Well, remember, he/she saw how tight the band was around your stomach during surgery so they usually have an educated idea of how much is needed.

vwdriver95 11 Posted April 20, 2015 Wow, my first fill was only 2cc's and I still haven't noticed anything major yet. Next appointment is in four weeks. Congrats and take it slowly with your eating
kwcrnp 63 Posted April 20, 2015 (edited) My surgeon said she fills it 2cc in the OR "to prime the tubing and band". I have a 10cc band and she has very few patients over 5-6cc. Edited April 20, 2015 by kwcrnp
