TMG1980TMG 136 Posted April 16, 2015 I have my second weigh in at the surgeons office today. I am nervous because I know I am up like 5lbs maybe more? I have increased edema in my legs from working the last three nights and should get my period this week which for always equals a gain! Also I haven't really tired to loose weight this past month, I was adding more veggies in as recommended by my surgeon but I have a long way to go on that one! Tell me about your gains! What did your surgeon say? Did it slow down your progress? ????????????????????
KarenLoh 128 Posted April 16, 2015 My MD has been amazing. She doesn't know how to shame people. She is every hopeful of a better result the next time. It has been great working with her. I'm making slow progress and will be up some at my weigh-in next week but I know I can do better and she will believe me and give me more chances. I hope yours is a wonderful. :-)
_Brooke_ 45 Posted April 29, 2015 I have gained 1-2 pounds almost every weigh in. Mostly Bc I have PCOS and when I don't get my periods normally it's like I just weigh more. But finally I have lost 2 pounds! My doctor has been supportive and went over portion sizes and how that can make you gain weight. I have a hard time controlling my portion sizes. I'm sure doctor will support you!
ohjul 51 Posted April 29, 2015 My dr is good about it too- my insurance is not from what I understand- but my dr requires liquid diet the 2weeks before and I should lose about 15-20 then. Does your dr require that? He says it will tell them I'm ready to change my lifestyle which is required to be successful.
_Brooke_ 45 Posted April 29, 2015 My doctor doesn't require the liquid diet. My insurance I have a feeling is going to give me a hard time but I really hope they don't. My insurance requires 6 months of doctor supervised dieting. Does yours? I have bcbs of al.
