Literally just read your whole conversation totally being a stalker ;) !!!

@ kaseyw0od I am so FREAKING EXCITED FOR YOU!!!!!!! You have to keep us updated and let us know how you are feeling. I have a pretty big booty now and my biggest fear from the surgery other then you know not waking up is a saggy ass. I feel so vain but I am terrified my booty is just going to be a whole bunch of skin lol.

@ sweettooth2015 I am going to send you a friend request. I am also at the beginning of my 6 month diet. I totally think it is ridiculous we have to do this anyway. Like six months is not going to make a dent in 20 years of being overweight.

@ pgarcia0812 you are amazing for dishing out all the awesome advice!

@@kikilay17 LMAO! I stalk everyone so it's all good!! Thanks so much, I will definitely keep you updated! The 6-month diet does suck, but I think in the end it was beneficial because it really prepared me for everything. It'll go by super quick too! Do you have Oxford? If so, they are really fast with authorization process so you can get a date asap. When I was done with the 6-months, Oxford authorized me within 2 days and I got a date right away. So hang in there! Girl you are preaching to the choir about sagging skin! Squats should help with your ass! Just keep banging out squats everyday, it'll help! My arms are gonna the death of me... I already have the whole bat-wing shit going on and I know once I lose the weight it'll look even worse :( I'm really gonna try to tone as much as I can, we will see how that goes!

@ kaseyw0od bahahaha I totally am terrified of my bat wings too. You should check out Ghrelinbegone on youtube. I love her arms and she posted a video on her arm workout. She still has a little bat wing going on but it looks damn good.

Trust me I am going to be the squatting lunge queen!!! I have tried to do the 30 day squat challenge 3x at my size now and failed. Totally hoping to conquer it after surgery.

I know your surgery date was yesterday I am so freaking excited for you!!! Totally praying and sending fast healing thoughts your way. Can't wait to her how your doing.

I had my surgery Feb. after 6 months of supervision/insurance business. So far since November, I'm down 130#. Would love to hear how your progress is going :)

@@kikilay17 I totally just saw your post and am so sorry it took so long to respond lol!! First of all this woman's video is awesome and her arms looks AH-MAZING! Yeah you can see the bat wing a little, but they are so toned and jacked you can hardly tell! Thanks for the vid, just wait you will be the squat queen and have a great butt!! I've literally been lifting weights every night! I see a little bit of definition in my arms, so it def is working, but it needs to happen faster lol

@@Alyssa0102 Hiiii, the surgery went really well! They sent me home from the hospital the next day and I've been doing good ever since. Still not 100% fully recovered, but getting there! I'm on the puree stage now, and although it is better than the liquids, I'm getting tired of the same old meals. I'm counting down the days until I could eat soft foods (4 DAYS) and I couldn't be more excited! I did have a little run-in last night.. I tried making these pureed broccoli/parm cheese/panko break crumbs "pancakes" (I did fry them in the pan with a little olive oil), and idk if I ate too much or just shouldn't have eaten that particular food, but I threw it all up! As much as I HATE throwing up, it really keeps you accountable for what you put into your body and keeps you on track. So far I've lost about 25lbs, and trying really hard to get outta the 300's! I feel like I'm stalling a bit.. I'm eating right and exercising daily, but the numbers on the scale aren't moving as fast as I want them to! I've read about 2/3 week stalls where your body is adjusting to the change and you don't really lose weight (but lose inches), so maybe thats what I'm going through right now...

OMG 130lbs down?! That's amazing, congrats!!! So you had your surgery Feb of last year? I want to around the same amount of weight, maybe a little more! How is the excess skin and how do you feel mentally and physically?! Are there any tips or advice you can give me? :)

And, I've got minimal excess skin because of the weight I lost before surgery ???? it's tough, especially after you're on to eating 'real' food. The temptation and head hunger haunt me. It's hard to resist!

@@Alyssa0102 Gotcha! I thought you had the surgery Feb of this year, but then saw you lost 130lbs and was like OMG she couldn't have lost that much weight in only 3 months lol! That's amazing though to have lost that much weight, how do you feel?? I'm nervous to start eating normal food, because I feel I am going to overeat or eat bad foods. The head hunger is KILLER! The food commercials are so hard to watch with delicious foods staring at me lol! Congrats to your sister as well! I hope she has a speedy recovery and it's awesome she has you for support! How old are you guys and where from?? I'm 25 from CT (I promise I'm not a creepy stalker lol).

My sister is 21. She's from Iowa. I'm 23, from South Dakota. The struggle is real. Commercials are ridiculous. I have an AWESOME Pinterest board full of recipes. You're welcome to add me if you want ;) alyssalynne2013

I feel great! Still would like to lose a good 50 lbs. But they're slowly coming off. This part is hard. But, 3 months out and I feel I'm doing pretty well.

And no worries! I don't think you're a creepy stalker, I feel like that aaaalllll the time when I try talking to anyone ha

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
