CanyonBaby 1,852 Posted April 13, 2015 The best thing you can do for yourself if you are questioning whether to have the surgery is pull back, research it as much as you can, talk with your doctor and get the REAL lowdown on all that is involved, including the after-surgery facts. Also read the posts on here that relate to what happens AFTER the surgery (hair loss, complications, dumping, loose skin, plastic surgery, the list goes on...). Use the search function in the upper right-hand corner of the page to help you. This is serious business, and will require you stick to the plan for success. If you don't follow the plan, you more than likely will regain the weight, and still have a tiny tummy. BE SURE before you commit! Good luck to you!
*Lexie* 1,486 Posted April 13, 2015 Being nervous is normal. It's true that it's permanent and it's a big decision. I've had so many times where I've wished I could go back because I miss eating big meals. That's when I realize that I'm thankful for my surgery because I know I would have never gotten this far without it. Change is scary but it's worth it.
