Netteyazz 2 Posted April 12, 2015 Hello, I'm new to the group. I am just five days out from my surgery, and down 10 pounds already. I do have a mental feeling that I need to eat something, but I know it's all just mental.
Jimetta 3 Posted April 12, 2015 My sleeve was April 2. Down 14 from when I came home. Concerned I have hunger pains. Anyone else dealing with this?
Brigiter 40 Posted April 13, 2015 Hunger pains? Mm I hope I don't get those and maybe it's just in the beginning while your new stomach recovers from being swollen!
jessica.lee91 13 Posted April 13, 2015 Hi I was sleeved on the 8th of April and hunger pains are horrible! While my head doesn't want me to eat my stomach is very sore and let's me knows.
Jimetta 3 Posted April 13, 2015 Okay, had my post op today. Asked Dr. Pesta about the hunger pains. I'm stick with it. Requires more discipline then because I could want to eat more than allowed. Not happy. They hurt. Truly hoping it's a stomach acid thing that would calm down later. Oh well, losing so happy.
newalysseonlife 7 Posted April 14, 2015 also sleeved on the 6th. I get bad tummy gurgles, but no actual hunger. although have had some head hunger, even in my dream last night. Did your guys doctors put you on anything for the stomach acid? I have noticed mine gets worse if I don't remember to take my pepcid at around the same time each day.
