banded5/31 0 Posted June 14, 2007 Hello I had mine done on 5/31 so I am right there with you! How are you doing with your food intake? In the beginning I was eating nothing my most solid was yogurt but now I am eating soft foods but not only mushie veggies and I am having no problem with any food I have tried but I am afraid that I may be eating more than needed. Yesterday I had a south beach chicken ceaser wrap and a Jello for lunch and last night I had a 1/2 of a grilled chicken wrap. Where are you with your eating?? debruny 0 Posted June 14, 2007 I'm in Walled Lake/Commerce Township. I haven't had any problems with food so far, I did the Protein shakes, liquids, and mushy foods, and have progressed to some solid type foods, even had some chicken, though it was very very thin, and fell apart with a fork. Didn't have a lot of it, just a few bites, and all went well. I still can't eat much at once or I have extremely bad shoulder pain, and that is enough to keep me from even wanting much. I don't mind the Meal Replacement shakes, but I am sick of the Protein powder already. ( I hate the taste of it) I have an apt with the surgeon next Monday, will try to keep you posted on that. Feel free to pm me.
jbacher 0 Posted June 14, 2007 Welcome to the group. There is great information provide in these chats. Keep up the diet and following the rules. For me once I started cheating with extra food or the wrong type of food it was really hard to get back on track. Good luck on your journey. It has only just begun. tesma 0 Posted June 15, 2007 I've really had a difficult time making the decision to get banded but can't seem to get it off and keep it off myself. I'm just so ready to feel better. I have sleep apnea which makes me extremely tired most of the time. Difficulty getting through the work day. Plus I have reflux. So I'm hopefully these things will go away. Good luck. Keep up the good work. Marcy
