red37 116 Posted June 28, 2015 Mani mahi is my favorite fish. Great pan seared in lime juice with some onions and cilantro. Hi Rosemary! I love Mahi too! Would love to make that. Have you been eating it now? Is it easily digestible?

I'm waiting on my appeal for revision to bypass to be overturned. What's your story? I originally had my band placed in 2008, I had some early success losing about 50 lbs but after the first two years I got tired of fighting it. I resorted to eating around it. For the next 4-5 years I did weight watchers and a bunch of other diets (blah) with some success but the weight always came back plus some. My last straw was I went into my PCP last December and my weight was up to 263 (only 20 lbs shy of my pre band weight). I called that day and made an appointment with my surgeon. We discussed options and the RNY seemed the way to go. I didn't have any trouble with insurance, after my 3 month supervised weight loss, they submitted on a Friday and I was approved on a Monday.
