I am late to check in on this thread but I too was sleeved on April 20. I am on full liquids and have been able to reach my Protein goals since Day 2. I am not yet getting 64 oz of Water but am still getting most of my fluids from Protein Shakes and Soup.< /p>

Surgery went well and after 2 weeks I can't say it hurts. However I find it so hard to get my Proteins and my water! With 5 small meals and no drinking before and after eating, how can you drink 64 oz of Water?

I was sleeved on 4/20 also. Went back to work today and definitely found it difficult to get as much Protein and Water in as I should have. :( On the bright side - next week I get to start on soft solids and veggies... I can't wait!!!

I am doing really good actually! I go for my follow up appointment tomorrow! I am tired of liquid diet so hoping I can do the purée to add some more options! As of Sunday I have lost 11 pounds! Was afraid to weigh myself at first because of all the stuff you go through and not wanting to be disappointed but that weightloss gave me the motivation to keep doing things right! How are you doing? Thanks for asking!

I went to the doctor. She told me I have to get more liquid in. I have lost 20 lbs since surgery!!! (My boobs are gone ????) I felt pretty good today! Wasn't exhausted or dizzy so I can't wait for the soft food stage so hopefully that will make me feel back to normal. I don't have an appetite but I'm so sick of liquids and I'm not a fan of the pureed stuff.

Where's everyone at?

Hey! I was sleeved april 20th. Almost 3 months out and right at 60 pounds down. I can't believe how it is coming off. I still struggle with Water and Protein. I just can't seem to drink enough. Exercising a few times a week. What about you? How are things going your way?

I am looking forward to my follow-up appointment this month. I know I am down over 100 pounds from my highest weight but am holding off on weighing until I get to the doctor.

I have been doing well with Protein and even survived some holiday family meals pretty well. The fluids are a challenge but I am working hard on getting enough. I could do better.

I am regaining my mobility and have been able to swim quite a bit when the weather cooperates. I hope to be able to drive myself for my follow-up appointment but won't know if I can until closer to time.

I'm down 55 from pre op, 48 from surgery. I had a hard time at the beginning with the Protein and had a few stalls, but now I'm getting everything in and the weight loss is starting again. Plus I can tell I have lost some inches. I have a follow up Monday.

Super excited. 3 month follow up appt today down 50lbs. Then I tried on my goal jeans, size 10, and they fit. A Lil snug but they fit. Haven't fit in a size 10 since grade school.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
