KellyJ1121 11 Posted April 13, 2015 @@TWJ I started feeling good the 2nd week after surgery. Did you get the surgery yet?
TWJ 13 Posted April 13, 2015 @@KellyJ1121 I had my surgery Thursday, April 9th. I'm feeling a little better but still having a good bit of trapped gas. How long does this take to work itself out? Also, has anyone had a problem with sharp pains across their chest when they take a drink?
KellyJ1121 11 Posted April 13, 2015 Congrats and best of luck on your new journey! When I eat or drink to fast I get the sharp pains in my chest. It goes away pretty quick though.

It was a constriction of my esophagus and it happened for the first couple of weeks post-op until the swelling went down.
HappySenior 6 Posted April 13, 2015 I feel the same. I had my sleeve surgery on March 10th. Lost 34 lbs and feel absolutely great. My family dr told me that the sleeve surgery will be the best thing I would do for myself. It's true!!
